Its founders decided to work together to produce a quality education at an affordable price. While diplomatic staff and employees of large NGOs could afford local tuition rates exceeding US$8,000, many cannot. Parents unable to afford these rates have been forced to find alternatives such as tutoring or home schooling which may or may not be effective.
