All our students are guests in Vietnam. We strive to recognize the sensitivities of our host country. Our internet access conforms to Viet law and regulation. There will be no permission to access pornography or sites devoted to the political discussion of Vietnam. Failure to abide by this policy could result in your child being suspended. Repeated violations will result in your child being expelled from the program. HAS is financial liable for all violations of these regulations regardless of the reason or circumstances. Whenever possible our internal internet filters will prevent this activity from occurring.

All students will be asked to respect the cultural differences of our student body. Language that is offensive, hateful or harmful should be avoided. Difficult situations will be resolved through counseling and parent teacher conferences when necessary. Frank discussions in the classroom will be permitted in the interest of educating our students. Our students come from different cultural backgrounds and experiences and HAS respects those differences.

Students will be required to wear proper school attire. The dress for boys is long trousers during the 1st and 4th term. For girls, skirts and dresses are permitted, however they should be modest in cut and design. Shorts are permitted for all students during the 2nd and 3rd term. Shirts and blouses can be short sleeved, no halter or belly tops. Violations of this policy will be addressed on a case by case basis. All students are required to have a helmet when arriving or departing by motorbike or bicycle.
